64th All India Textile Conference-December 20-21,2008
About TAI
Textile Association of India is the largest body of professionals in  India. There are 27 Units all over the India. Rajasthan unit being one of them, has its headquarter at Bhilwara. Currently it has more than 450 members. Rajasthan Unit has been awarded best unit twice consecutively among small units in entire country, in appreciation of the activities of this unit.
 
It is a very good platform for Textile Technocrats for exchanging knowledge as it conduct seminars, Conference regularly. The unit helps the members to acquire diploma/degree by conducting ATA/GMTA Examinations every year. This year more than 70 candidates are going to appear and it is a milestone in the history of TA(I) Rajasthan Unit.
 
Objectives
  1. To promote the use of scientific knowledge in textiles, from fibers to garments.
  2. To implement programmers of continued education in textile technology and management.
  3. To help members acquire textile qualifications towards improved job performance.
  4. To honors all those who contribute significantly to the growth of Indian textiles.
  5. To analyses socio-economic environment for developing strategy recommendations.
  6. To develop a sense of brotherhood amongst the fellow textile professionals.

Journal of the Textile Association, is a bimonthly journal of TAI. JTA is brought out in the second half of February, April, June, August, October, December.

The Textile Association (India) has membership of over 20000 spread in 27 units throughout the length and breadth of Indian subcontinent.
